Abstract

ABSTRACT <br /> This systematic review\\\\\\\'s objective is to investigate how internal audit might improve corporate governance procedures in Nigeria\\\\\\\'s manufacturing industry. The growing frequency of company failures and scandals in recent years has made corporate governance more and more significant. Enhancing corporate governance processes is a major function of internal audit, which is a crucial part of corporate governance. It is unclear, therefore, how much internal audit adds to corporate governance procedures in Nigeria\\\\\\\'s manufacturing industry. The study employs a methodical strategy to locate and evaluate pertinent research that was published between 2015 and 2023. A topic and content analysis of the body of existing literature is part of the qualitative synthesis of primary research studies that makes up the research design. During the sampling process, the choice of research that concentrate on the internal audit procedures and industrial industry in Nigeria. A thorough analysis of pertinent literature, including books, conference proceedings, and scholarly journals, is one of the data collection tools. A thematic analysis of the literature is one of the data analysis approaches that involves finding important themes and patterns in the data. According to the review\\\\\\\'s conclusions, corporate governance procedures are improved by internal audit methods in Nigeria\\\\\\\'s manufacturing sector. All things considered, this methodical evaluation offers a thorough examination of how internal audit contributes to improved corporate governance procedures in Nigeria\\\\\\\'s manufacturing industry. The results aid in the creation of a more comprehensive knowledge of the opportunities and difficulties that internal audit practices face. in the industry and offer practical advice to practitioners and politicians who want to enhance corporate governance standards in Nigeria\\\\\\\'s manufacturing sector. <br />
